Ethnic Minority Achievement (E.M.A.)

E.M.A. : Ethnic Minority Achievement

The Ethnic Minority Achievement team forms part of our Inclusion team. They work alongside class teachers to ensure that ethnicity or language are not barriers to children’s learning. They provide curriculum and pastoral, as well as language support.

Team members: Mrs Linda Goodwin, Miss Angela Osmond, Mrs Manasha Yasin and Mrs Shukria Pardes.

 

Support for New Arrivals

One of the roles of our EMA team is to provide support for International Arrivals who are New to English.

In KS1 And KS2 there is an Induction Programme for children who are New to English.
